Happy Saturday, everyone! Today I’m posting my second Milan look, which was quite a contrast to my typical style; for once, it wasn’t dominated by black! In fact, my boots were the only black item that I wore, so I’m definitely expanding my style!
The second day of my Italian trip in fact wasn’t based in Milan; my parents and I travelled to the beautiful setting of Lake Como for the day instead. I planned my outfit with this in mind; knowing that my surroundings would be dramatically scenic and vibrant inspired me to add some colour to my outfit. Lake Como itself was beautiful; we took a relaxing boat trip across the Lake itself to the renowned Italian town of Bellagio. Being on a boat with such stunning settings surrounding you really allows you to appreciate Italy’s beauty. Bellagio was a very isolated, yet picturesque town on the Lake, made up of cute cobbled streets, and stunningly traditional Italian buildings. Most of my photos on this post were taken here, as I couldn’t help but make the most of the mountain back drop and fresh greenery!
So in this look I braved my pretty bold culotte-style jeans. I still feel like I’m making a statement whenever I wear them, but I guess that’s a good thing! As the jeans were quite bold, I decided to pair them with simply a tee shirt, though found that the bright red heart on this design complimented the bright blue of my jeans perfectly! As always, I’m wearing my round, John-Lennon style sunglasses again. I’ve worn these on so many blog posts already, but I just love them; I’m definitely going to be wearing them all summer!
Let me know what you think of the outfit & photographs in the comment box below!
